EcoTank swaps cartridges for refillable ink tanks. You buy bottles instead, which cuts cost per page sharply in exchange for a higher purchase price. It suits businesses printing steadily and predictably.

Expression Photo is built for image quality rather than volume, using photo-specific inks for prints and artwork.

Underneath all four sits the same argument for inkjet over laser in a business. Epson’s heat-free print heads have no fuser to warm up, so the machines draw less power, start instantly, and have fewer parts to wear out. There is no drum, fuser or transfer belt to replace, and colour costs less per page than on a comparable laser.
