Epson Large Format Printers

Two quite different ranges sit here, and choosing between them is simple once you know what you are printing.

SureColor SC-T machines are for technical work: drawings, plans, site copies, posters and general wide format output. Four pigment inks, printing up to A0 from roll or sheet, built for speed and cost per print rather than colour subtlety. Several models come with or without a stand, and the SC-T3100M and SC-T5100M add scanning and copying so you can reproduce existing drawings.

SureColor SC-P machines are for image quality. Ten or twelve pigment inks including light tones, greys, and on the larger models orange and green, giving the tonal range photographic and fine art printing needs. The SC-P700 and SC-P900 are desktop A3+ and A2+ machines. The SC-P7500 and SC-P9500 are 24 and 44 inch roll printers, and the Spectro versions add a built-in spectrophotometer for automated colour calibration.

The rule of thumb: if you print drawings, choose SC-T. If you sell what you print, choose SC-P.
