Epson Mono RIPS Printers

If your printing is black and white, a mono RIPS machine is the cheapest way to keep an office supplied.

RIPS stands for Replaceable Ink Pack System. Rather than cartridges, these printers use large sealed ink packs that run for tens of thousands of pages, so ink changes happen once or twice a year instead of monthly. For a busy office that alone can justify the choice.

Set against a mono laser, the case is running cost and simplicity. Epson’s heat-free print head has no fuser to warm up, so the machine draws a fraction of the power and starts instantly. There is no drum unit, no fuser and no transfer belt to replace, which removes most of the scheduled maintenance a laser needs.

Set against a colour machine, the case is simpler still. If you never print in colour, there is little sense in buying it or maintaining it.

The A4 WorkForce Pro WF-M range is where the current models sit. Browse them below.

Most mono RIPS machines are quoted individually rather than priced online. Call 01903 692 222 and tell us roughly what you print each month.
